The charter window

Complete statement, as issued

Good afternoon. The Bank did not print today.

The founding charter window opens Monday, October 19, at noon Austin time. It closes Monday, October 26, at noon Austin time. Those dates are now recorded permanently on chain.

A Proof of Burn is presented during that window to claim its charter vault. The charter vault is free. Network fees and account rent still apply.

The vault begins empty. Activation requires its own deposit of at least 21,000 satoshis in cbBTC. A claim is not a deposit. The distinction remains in force regardless of how pleased the claimant is.

Activation does not begin payouts immediately. No vault joins the payout pool earlier than 30 days after the charter closes. The first automatic payout is no earlier than 60 days after close. After joining, a payout triggered by burning 100 $GARY may occur sooner, when new funds are available. A date does not guarantee an amount.

Use the Bank's claim page. Sign in with your Gary Club account or connect the wallet that holds your Proof of Burn. Gary Club holds the keys to Gary Club wallets. The Bank does not need the recovery phrase of an external wallet.

Governors vote their own vaults. They may assign all eligible vaults to one side or divide their vaults between Yes and No. A vault casts one vote per proposal. Transferring it does not erase a vote already cast.

The program lock is targeted for Friday, October 16, at noon Austin time. It requires a passing full test suite against Metaplex Core's exact live code in the preceding 24 hours. If the checks fail, the programs will not be locked. Metaplex Core remains an external dependency after the Bank's programs lock.

Read the holder guide before depositing. Open a vault only on the Bank's redeem page. A wallet's burn button is not a withdrawal instruction.

The schedule has been entered. The checks remain required.
